Privacy Policy

Overview
Comms Bot helps Discord server admins configure and run temporary voice channels. This policy explains what information is processed when you install the bot, use the dashboard, or create temporary comms channels.
Information We Process
- Discord user IDs and usernames for dashboard sign-in.
- Discord guild IDs, guild names, channel IDs, category IDs, role IDs, and emoji IDs used for configuration.
- Temporary channel records, including channel IDs, creator user IDs, selected comms type, member limit, sequence number, activity timestamps, and deletion status.
- Feature availability state used for server-level safeguards.
- Operational logs needed to diagnose errors and abuse.
How We Use Information
- To verify that a signed-in Discord user can manage the requested server.
- To save server-specific bot configuration.
- To create, track, clean up, and recover temporary voice channels.
- To apply server-level safeguards and reliability limits.
- To maintain reliability, security, and support for the service.
Service Providers
Comms Bot uses Discord for bot and OAuth functionality, Supabase for database storage, Railway for the bot runtime, and Vercel for the dashboard. These providers process information as needed to operate the service.
Data Retention
Guild configuration is kept while the bot remains installed or until it is deleted by an authorized admin. Temporary channel records are retained for operational recovery and audit purposes. Operational logs are kept only as long as needed for reliability and support.
Your Choices
Server admins can update configuration in the dashboard. Removing Comms Bot from a Discord server stops new bot activity in that server. For data access or deletion requests, contact support through the support server listed on the app profile.
